Why can`t you just use windows volume control ?

Why add more garbage to the system ?

My speakers have their own volume controls.

my speakers ofcource has build in volume controls but not easily accessable so i do it through the function keys of my keyboard. but i want to see a bar on screen how much i am changing it.

i do not seek for software to chance the volume, but software to SEE it increase or decrease on screen, while in a full screen application.

generally because games override the windowing environment, which is where the volume change notification appears.

The only way for that to work is if the game provided it's own volume bar. Otherwise you run the risk of crashing the game.

Of course, you could get one of those front panel displays for your computer...

Try listening to the volume, that will tell you if it is too loud or not loud enough!

Hmm surely there must be some kind of overlay software that can manage to do this?
