"My Computer" folder opening on every W7x64 boot

Running W7 64bit - Lenovo Y580 (though I believe the problem lies in Windows itself).

Lately, every time I boot the "My Computer" folder opens on the loading screen. Why is this the case and how can I eliminate this?

I've already done the below (but still see the 'My Computer' upon boot):
    1) Regedit Userinit.exe - I have looked this up in the registry. It's attributed correctly.
    2) Regedit Userinit.exe - Current user/run and runonce checked - no funny programs/bad .exe locations
    3) Ccleaner - I checked startup files (same with msconfig>services>startup). No luck.
    4) MSE - I don't think malware is causing this as MSE comes up full scan clean
    5) System Restore - No luck.
    6) Booting in safe mode - No luck.
    7) Checked start menu > startup folder - no luck.
    8) Folder options - Already unchecked restore previous logon folders at startup

The 9th option: I ran troubleshooting performance and I suddenly see a startup file called "(default)" but with no file location or .exe location, so I don't know where on the computer or registry it is. Is this the culprit?

What should I do to eliminate this problem?

Most tech enthusiasts will not run the corrupt, bloated factory preinstall which throttles Win7 but instead Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7. Stick with the tools and methods given and you'll get an keep a perfect install.

At the minimum I'd Clean Up Factory Bloatware.
