Did you follow the tutorial's specific steps about how drivers are handled in Win7?

Meanwhile you can check the logs and system resources for clues, update the Display driver to latest: Troubleshooting Steps for Windows 7
If problem persists you may need to import the specific chipset drivers for the PC or mobo. But you should not have done this yet if you followed the steps in tutorial since preference should first be given to the drivers supplied by Win7 which is a driver-complete OS.
