    i have followed guides online, and im just short of reinstalling windows 7...please help

    Have you tried this yet: Windows 7 Boot screen displays Vista Green Loading Bar - Microsoft Community.

    I've had to reinstall in the past in most cases with this.

    i had to reinstall in the end but i made a backup first on one of my external Hard drives anyway. thanks for trying though.

Just wanted to say for those who aren't aware and are doing fresh installs in the next couple days. If you have your hard drive partitioned and have system restore turned on, on both drives you might want to try to remember do disable system restore on the other partitions (D,E, whatever) before...
