Win7 seems boot normally but display remains with win boot logo

    Win7 seems boot normally but display remains with win boot logo


    Hi everyone

    I got new HP Slimline desktop and i change the OS to Win 7 Ultimate 32bit.

    But since i installed new Win the OS seems to boot normally (you can hear logon session sound), but the image of win boot remains freeze in the display.

    Even, you can shutdown the system pressing once the power button, hear the sound, wait few seconds and pc turn off.

    So, where could be the problem???

    Did you upgrade from Vista? How did you install the OS; Did you format the drive and use a retail or OEM disk? Did you download an image file from the web?

    If you reinstalled 32 bit then follow these steps to do it over: Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7.

    This time make your Recovery Disks if you haven't already and wipe the HD using Clean Command from Disk - Clean and Clean All with Diskpart Command from the installer Command Line accessing DISKPART : At PC Startup

Weird boot logo

Just an off the cuff question. I just installed a new monitor Now, when the PC boots, it doesn't show the four lights coming together to form the windows logo, instead it just shows a progress bar, the same as vista does. Why would this happen? Weird!
