    name change?

I recently joined SevenForums, but now considering upgrading to win8, can i use the same name when i
join windows 8 forums? I am going to take advantage of the sale price for the upgrade, and try it, if
i get to frustrated with it then, hell i will dump it and go back to win 7. From all the post i have read
    on win 8 , I have a 50/50 chance of liking it.

    thanks for any replies.

I'd hang onto 7 until you're sure you want 8, then backup 7 as an image in case you want to go back.

Under the EULA you need to stop using Win7 once you use it to qualify for activating Win8.

If you decide to delete 7 then be sure to save the backup image externally. Backup Complete Computer - Create an Image Backup

Yes, good suggestion, i spoke w/ my brother this wkend and he advised that he upgraded
and is not experiencing any problems. In fact ,he said he was enjoying the new operating
system and considers it a challenge to learn win 8. we are both retired and have time to
deal with the frustrations win 8 may throw our way...

thanks again for the advice and all the welcomes from all members

You will hate 8, but go for it.
