    I don't know if those would interfere or confuse PW Wizard. SIW2 might know for sure. Work with Kaktussoft to try to recover the MFT.

    If you are mostly interested in recovering pictures, try ZAR.

    The image recovery part is free. It works to recover from HD as well as memory card.

    So im running zar and i dont knlw what to interprate. It is at 1% and all i can see is data fragments and 2 file structers which are not at the start they are about 6 blocks down

    I had to restart the zar because my hdd got unplugged when i was plugging something into my htpc...

    I will post a screenshot later as i am curremtly using synergy and i havnt got internet set up on the htpc

    Why you're doing other things that interfere with ZAR? It's a process that takes hours! Do you have enough free space on internal disk to restore the recovered pictures?

    Post a screenshot when ZAR is trying to recover for about half an hour. Also write down when recovery starts and when it's at 5% percent. Then you can predict when it will finish.

    Yes.. I have 350 gb free.It has been running for 26 mins and is at 3%. I will keep an eye on it
