I am currently using Windows 7 Professional (64 bit) system.
I am currently not able to use software programs to directly open files that are in my document libraries. For example, any MS Office and or Adobe or other software programs are not able to open the folders. However, I am able to use Windows Explorer and double click on the file and the document will the open with the appropriate program.
My libraries are structured simply, basically, my document library consistes of all documents within "My Documents"
I have attempted to delete and restore the default libraries in addition to doing an intergrity scan on the Windows system files. I also have turned off all virus protection to validate this would not be causing the problem. Finally, I have attempted to restore Windows 7 to a prior period and this has not resolved the issue.
Is their any other settings that I may attempt to correct or manually edit the profiles to have the libraries functional?
