    win 7 dvd maker telling me no more disk space on dvd when i use my blu


    windows 7 dvd maKEr is telling me there is not enough disk space on a dvd when i use my bluray to burn it , but the same files fit when i use the same disk in my dvd burner... i am not trying to burn a blu ray .. and yes my bluray does burn dvds.. i just installed the bluray.. are there setting i need to change somewhere? THAT IS THE ONLY PROBLEM I HAVE .. ANYONE WITH ANY IDEA WHY THIS IS HAPPENING PLEASE LET ME KNOW ..

    Hi DEBADGE and welcome to Seven Forums.
    I would suspect that Windows ***DVD*** maker as a program has no idea what a blu ray is and thinks it is a CD. The answer is simple use the DVD burner for DVD and use the blu ray to play movies and burn blu rays with a program that knows they exist. Windows 7 does not have native blu ray support.
