Photo Screensaver doesn't include sub-directories.?

For some reason, I cannot get the photo screen saver to include sub directories. I select either my pictures folder, or my pictures library, and in both cases, it only seems to poll those pictures in the root of pictures, as well as sample pictures.. None of the other folders in the pictures folder get polled... Any suggestions?

Also.. for some reason, the screen saver does not start when it should. I can preview it from the screen saver configuration screen, but it doesn't start on it's own after the allotted time....

Are you using Windows Live Photo Gallery?

I do not believe I am.. When I go to personalize>> Screen Saver>> I believe all that is selected is Photos, and the time it should wait to start. I then Clicked configure, set it to use my "My Pictures" Folder, and set it to shuffle. There was no box to include sub-directories, but in past versions, it has always managed to do that without issue.. I am about 5 hours from home yet. Will check on it when I get back in front of my windows 7 computer.. Thanks for the reply..

Well, it looks like sub-folders are gone. Other than using your Pictures Libarary as the source, your next best (?) option may be Picasa 3: Free download from Google

The screensaver feature is highly configurable. I use it when Windows (WEI?) decides that my ATI HD3850 won't support Pan&Zoom (which it does).

I am using Windows 7 x64 and subfolders are automatically include in the screen saver. I really don't know what could be the problem.

It is not just subfolders. I can preview the screen saver, but it will not launch ever on it's own.. Will give the picasa screen saver a shot..
