Is windows 7 tied to this computer?

    You can get programs to find your serial like the magic jelly bean keyfinder KeyFinder | Magical Jelly Bean
    have a look at that, there is a trial version. there is other programs like it too.

    I just explained why a keyfinder wont' work for factory OEM.

    If you go on start and right click my computer a d go into properties. At the bittom you will find you serial i think

    This is not correct. The string given on the Computer>Properties page is the Product ID which can help MS trace the origin of the OS if need be. It is not the Product Key.

    A Product ID with OEM in its string means it is factory preinstalled, or builder's OEM. That's about as useful as the ID is to us.
