Hi
I use windows 7 home premium and i have a very annoying problem with my folder with video (or pictures)
When i open a folder with the thumbnails view, it re-create every thumbnails, it is very slow...
I know there is a tips there to Enable or Disable the Thumbnail Cache:
Thumbnail Cache - Enable or Disable
-> ok, it's enabled
I have Windows 7 home premium so i can't use the Local Group Policy Editor...
I apply another tips, to Prevent Windows from Deleting the Thumbnail Cache:
Thumbnail Cache - Prevent Windows from Deleting
-> ok i do this but when i check the properties of this folder:
C:\Users\User-Name\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Explorer
It is only 79 ko, so i think there is any thumbnails cached inside....
In this folder, i have these files:
ExplorerStartupLog.etl = 32 ko (last modifiy date = 2011)
ExplorerStartupLog_RunOnce.etl = 16 ko (last modifiy date= last month)
thumbcache_idx.db = 4 ko (last modifiy date= 3 days ago)
and i have another folder "ThumbCacheToDelete" with many 0 Ko files with today date...
What can i do to have the thumbnails cached and not re-created every time ?
Thanks
