    Windows 7 Startup Repair Loop

    Hello,
I've been looking for ways to fix this problem. It started about a year ago, i just left it but now i feel the need to try and fix it.
I have gone through Startup Repair Infinite Loop Recovery
    but it was no help
If someone could help me and guide me through this, it would be helpful.

(P.S. I am not very tech savy, but can follow steps pretty easily so if someone were to help me, could it be in very specific steps as to how to do it)

Do you have a Windows 7 install dvd ?

Do you have a windows activation key ?

Would you like to reinstall windows ?

Are you sure you don`t have a key ?

If you bought this pc from a retail outlet, there should be a COA somewhere on the pc.

What exact model do you have and where did you buy it.

Without a key you will not be able to reactivate windows after a clean reinstall. There are programs you can use to retrieve your windows 7 key, but right now you can`t even get into windows. I would try to contact the person who sold you the machine and see if they know anyhting about your key or reinstall XP. The last resort would be to buy a retail Windows 7.
