Icons on toolbar are rectangle instead of being square

Icons on my toolbar are square instead of being square. I had a virus on my dell laptop and I removed it but it messed up al my original and default settings. I am trying to set it back to the normal settings where it is square. Can someone help me

    nvega818 Welcome to the Forums

They only decrease in size when you add more open programs or pages to the taskbar. At least on my machine anyway. It` looks normal to me.

You could do a system restore to a date b4 the virus. I take it you didn`t scan whatever you downloaded b4 you opened it. Bad practice.

Right click on the taskbar and click Properties.

For the Taskbar Buttons dropdown list select Always combine, hide labels
