unticked all permissions,can not access hard drive

    Where did you put cpermission.bat give me exact folder please. Or is it on your desktop?

    i can not download anything so i had to use my laptop and had it on my flash that is were i opened it from

    yes i have it,,, when an i.t guy came he tried the disk and a cmd prompt poped up "administrator :x\windows \system32\cmd.exe" and he was stuck there,,,,,,,,

    So you have th cpermissions.bat on a flash drive and was able to connect it to your faulty machine? Then you ran it from command prompt?

    Boot from that DVD again . Answer the simple answer there like keyboard settings (just click next).
    and select "repair your computer".
    Now:
    Select which operating system you want to restore and the click on Next. (See screenshot below)
    NOTE: If Windows 7 is not listed here, or it is blank, then it is ok. Click on Next anyway.
    Then you see:



    Select command prompt

    in that black screen:

    Code:
    dir  c:\users
    dir  d:\users
    dir  e:\users
    Do you see your username? Is it on c, d or e? Is is not necessary c!

    Code:
    dir d:\
    dir e:\
    dir f:\
    dir g:\
    What drive letter has usb stick with cpermissions.bat on it? Do you see that file?
