Windows 7: Internet Download Manager Won't working with Kaspersky, Can't start DL

Internet Download Manager Won't working with Kaspersky, Can't start DL

Internet Download Manager Won't working with Kaspersky Pure 2.0, Can't start DL

anyone know why this happen?

i tried stopping kaspersky pure 2.0 from protecting my PC, and then the IDM can working agan, start downloading.

But when My kaspersky run, the IDM Won't working.

whats wrong here?

please help

PS : I use Pure 2.0 and IDM 6.11

Hi there,

Kaspersky is obviously blocking Internet Download Manager and it is a third-party software which is obviously does not trust.

To make it trusted follow the gif bellow and my text:


Once in trusted applications click add. Then go to C:\Program Files\ (Then find your internet download manager folder open it and find the .exe file and then add that to kaspersky)

When it asks you for what permissions you want to give it set it up like this:

Hi D3LL,

Thank you for your GIF, but it still won't start downloading.

I've tried as you said, first test check only the : "don't scan network traffic" one like in your pic.
Second, i check all the boxes above and still not working

plese see below my screenshoot and verify if the exclusion is right ( the path ):

in the thumbnail.

I choose (Program files x86) cause there is no any idm folder on the (program files) folder without the "x86".

Hi there,

Yes you have done this correctly.

Have you tried rebooting since making this change to Kaspersky?

Yes yes, rebooted several times.

the actual problem is still like this :

photo 1 : whenever i download, there would be like that, no calculation of size download, thus i waited for several minutes

photo 2 : after i clicked the "download" button as usual, there is triangle mark with it.

Kaspersky Pure 2.0 Make IDM Connection Interupted?

well, since i've using kaspersky pure 2.0 this happen to me,
the IDM won't start downloading .

no calculation of how much size as usual, and left a yellow triangle notice box after i click download.

thus, i've set the exclusion and trusted aplication on kaspersky, so far these won't work.

could anyone help me please?
