Error 0xc0000225, recovery says partition is 0MB, unknown location

Hi all,

Somehow messed up the Windows 7 installation on an ACER AOD 270 when I partitioned the drive to install Peppermint Linux. Now when the bootmenu comes up, going to Windows 7 (sda2) gets the error above. Trying to get to the Recovery option (sda1) tries to recover the drive, but says the partition is 0GB in size. (Peppermint will show me the Windows Drive under the title "SYSTEM RESERVED" and it says that it is 154GB--the size of the partition).

I burned a Recovery CD and tried that. When I try to do a system restore and it looks for the OS, it says the Windows 7 partition is 0MB and its location is "unknown."

Obviously I've messed up something. Any advice greatly appreciated.
