    Recycle Bin - bug - cannot empty


    Hello sevenf communauty,
    i'm posting my first post here, i have a small bug with my recycle bin i cannot empty it and there is an error on the .ico (it looks like if there is nothing in, in fact there is few files...

    I cannnot empty my reclycle bin.


    Empty Trash doesn't work


    Missing empty trash onglet and the icons is not correct (empty)


    Any ideas?

    Hello Flav,

    Are you not able to actually empty (permanently delete files) the Recycle Bin, or is this just an issue with it's icon?

    If you are unable to delete the files in Recycle Bin, then the tutorial below may be able to help with that.

    Hello Brink,

    Thanks for the answer, i tried both links, the first clean by hands the $Recycle.bin files but i still without "empty recycle bin" context menu, and inside the explorer the button does'nt work, this is weird. I have also an error alert when i right-clik > property : Properties for this element aren't available.

    Still searching for a solution of this issue

    Have you ran an sfc/scannow? Might help.....

    Flav,

    You might consider doing a system restore using a restore point (if available) dated before this happened to hopefully fix it.
