Setting the “num lk” to be ON,

Setting the “num lk” to be ON,

I’m wondering which setting of windows/Bios that switch the “num lk” to be ON as the machine starts.

Originally, I couldn’t figure out why this “num lk” is for? Who needs it to be off?

Mine is windows 7 64 bits

Thank you

Best

Jamal

Hello Jamal,

There may be an option to enable or disable numlock in your BIOS settings.

You might also see if using OPTOIN ONE in the tutorial below with it set to 2 may help.

Hope this helps,

Hi Brink

I’m sorry but sounds that the problem is there again.

The “InitialKeyboardIndicators” is set to be “2” (attached), never the less, the “Num lock” is off as the machine starts

What might be the issue?

Does it turn on as soon as you log in, or does it remain off?

Thank you Sir George.

I tried to set the “InitialKeyboardIndicators” but didn’t work

What other options might affect the “num lk” to be on?

Best
