Can't read from the source file or disk

I have 7GB Iso File in C and when i try to copy/cut it to the D i got this message:
Can't read from the source file or disk.

    What's the best solution ?

Does the file transfer start ? or are you prompted with the error straight away?.

The transfer start and usually stopping at 90% then the message appear.

    Could possibly be timing out.
Does either of the computers go into "sleep mode", or screen lock whilst the transfer is happening?.
Have you tried transfering smaller size files?.

Depending what the file is, try spliting it into 2. then move it across

Just re-read your post. Your copying from the same computer right?. C drive to D drive.

Have you got enough full free space on the D drive?.

If you havn't shut down/restarted for 4 days. I'd start with a reboot.

    Yes the same computer.
    I have enough space.

I extract the ISO into the D and no errors appeared.

But i need to copy the ISO file not just extract it.

Is there a program fix that ? help me to copy the file without any problems or something like that ?
