    Switch display box

The switch display box started flashing on my screen. Now my keyboard does not work properly. Example if I type the letter l it takes me to my log on screen. Not all keys are even recognized.

It is possible that one or more keys on your keyboard are either sticking or not working at all. Do you have an alternative keyboard to try?

I checked. There are no keys sticking. Unfortunately I do not have another keyboard. This is a laptop.

I suggest getting a USB keyboard, either purchase one for about $8 to $10 or borrow one from a friend. Laptop keyborads do fail and it would be the best place to start.

It seems to work fine with the USB keyboard. Thanks for the help. This will work until I decide on a new laptop.
