Strange Freezing Problem, assistance needed...

    No unfortunately I still got a freeze after installing the updates. Thanks for your input Greg I'll try the clean install you suggested, it seems to be the only real option I have to fix this issue. I know there is a very thorough guide you've linked for the clean install but if I have any questions ill be sure to ask. Thank you everyone for your help.
