    Monitor flashing


    Hi, I joined to get help with my computer monitor flashing. My computer is an acer aspire AM3470G-UW10P
    and the screen flashes sometimes. its not the monitor because i tried a different monitor and it still messed up. There are little lines across the screen on the top and middle. and, i have an amd radeon 6530d graphics card. Please help, thanks!

    Hey.

    Have you tried installing the latest graphics card driver? for your card.

    Also, When you changed the monitor, Did you also change both the power cable and vga\dvi cable?.

    I did not change the cables, and there are no updates for my video card. But it does not flash all the time and its not flashing right now.

    Let me re-cap.

    So, we've tried 2 monitors, And both flash, and have lines down them, You used the same cables both times. And the Graphics card driver is set to the latest one.

    Id suggest, We make sure the PCI /PCI.E graphics card is seated correctly in the slot on the motherboard.

    Uninstall and reinstall Graphics Card driver.

    Try new Cable on the monitor.

    It's not flashing now. It has done this before but i restarted it and it worked fine. but it has been doing it more often, and i want to try to fix it.

    Do all the suggestions mentioned.

    After getting the latest drivers, completely uninstall your drivers then reinstall with the ones you downloaded.

    You must have an APU, never dealt with one.
