I wanted to give you more time to think it over. But there is no getting around the fact you're running a corrupt install. I don't know any tech enthusiast who would keep it, so I guess you need to decide how enthusiastic you are about getting a perfect Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7.

In the mean time, you can regain some performance and possibly even solve your issue using Clean Up Factory Bloatware although I'd imagine it is deeper rooted in the registry where countless thousands of useless registry keys clog Win7 with sponsored crapware, useless duplicate utilities and make it a real junkyard.

Hi gregrocker,

Thank you for sharing all of that detailed information with me and trying so hard to help. I appreciate that.
Yet, I am still hoping to find another solution. If need be I will get a new laptop rather than go through all of that. But for now I will just use cCleaner and hope that I find the driver that I need to update.
