I know that, but as I told you, this specific screensaver won't work this way. However it works if I start it directly by the file. So I need to find a way so that lock screen comes after it.

Try a bat file like this - you will need to change the screensaver to what you want, but you can test this.

    %systemroot%\system32\Mystify.scr /s
    rundll32.exe user32.dll, LockWorkStation

David, I repped you for this. That /s switch does the trick and the batch works also with screensavers.

(You might want to edit your post, to remove that Excel line...)

Thank you for the rep Kari! :)

Why do you suggest I remove the Excel line?
This PC has Win7 32 Bit / Office 2010 and that is where Excel.exe is located.

    Thanks,

If I found the right screensaver, it seems like it can retrieve info for a music collection and iTunes tracks.
What does the BAT file do with that screensaver.

I don't use screensavers and the only ones on my systems are the ones that are included with Windows.

Excel has nothing to do with OP's issue, he has not even mentioned it. I just used Excel as example program in my batch file ). User is only interested in running a specific non-compatible screensaver.

    That's why.

David, do you think I would make such thread if that screensaver could be used normally..? Just read dive and you'll know why.

I don't understand what you are asking, or wanting to do.

    Ah, OK.
I just copied your BAT example and went forward with that.
I thought there was some other program that would be run before the screensaver
