yeah, but it won't let me download the driver from there i guess. i thought i did earlier, but it was the one for the desktop graphics card instead of the laptop one i guess

Ok please try this below and see if it can autodetect the card and find drivers for it on your windows installation.

I think you need to boot into the mac osx and detrmine which graphics card is in use follow the guide below:

If you go back into the windows installation and right click on the desktop and choose screen resolution and click advanced settings and let us know which graphics adapter is used.

Windows 7 CRT monitor fonts tips : Disable Smooth edges
Hi, I just found how to completly disable ClearType in 7 : Control Panel / System and Security / System / Advanced system settings / Settings under Performance / Uncheck Smooth edges of screen fonts. My fonts are easier to read now. Hope this will help someone.
