Solved edges of screen are cut off on secondary monitor

yeah, but it won't let me download the driver from there i guess. i thought i did earlier, but it was the one for the desktop graphics card instead of the laptop one i guess

If you go back into the windows installation and right click on the desktop and choose screen resolution and click advanced settings and let us know which graphics adapter is used.

Nice going you are welcome glad your issue is resolved i do not have a windows installation on my mac so i will remember this also a learning point for me also.
