edges of screen are cut off on secondary monitor

Photo Album - Imgur

when i'm in osx and use my 24" external monitor, everything is fine, but when i'm in windows and set the resolution of my external monitor to its native 1920x1080, the edges of the screen get cut off as you can see in the pics. if i set the resolution to 1680x1050, it will fill the whole screen, but obviously i'd rather it just work like it's supposed to at 1920x1080. any ideas?

Set the resolution to what you want, then push auto adjust on the monitor, try that.

And also, make sure it`s setup properly in display properties.

Something else to consider is does your graphics card support that 1920x1080 resolution.

I would go the graphics card manufacturer's website and download the latest drivers for your card for the windows installation and see if that cures the issue.
