Windows 7: Going fullscreen on some programs causes explorer to crash

So every time I go to full screen screen on some of the programs causing windows explorer to freeze and then crash. I'm given an option to close windows explorer so i close it and have to let it restart itself.
I tried solving this problem before but couldn't actually find anything that fixed it.
The best I got was this program I installed to give me two different pictures on two different monitors. This problem started happening so i uninstalled it, though I still have the problem now.
(Also I couldn't find the error code, it doesn't show up when it gives me the option to close explorer)

Also all the programs that crash explorer seem to be games such as Minecraft, i think there may be some programs that crash explorer that may not be games but i'm not sure, i checked around and stuff like google chrome full screen and steams big picture work fine.
