    gregrocker.

Thanks for your help. I see that the program I was using, Ridnacs, wasn't providing me with useful HD info.

As I hate to have my data files mixes with my OS, I want to move my iPhone back up to another drive. Apple doesn't make this easy as there is no way to easily change the back up location.

Any thought about this approach? https://sihuwa.wordpress.com/2010/11...on-on-windows/

That would reduce my App Data to about 7.5 GBs. Is that reasonable?

    Thanks,

    Reid

Mine's 2.5GB including Google chrome. I still think yours is about 5gb too high, but 5GB isn't really something to stress over unless you are seriously low on space. A lot of applications store data there, and I seem to recall Windows 8 downloader storing the images there.

"Windows 8 downloader storing the images there." I'm on Win 7.

    What about the junction hack?

When you upgrade to Windows 8 using Windows 7, the upgrade advisor downloads the installation media and stores it in appdata. I installed Windows 8 on a different computer, so the installation image is still there on my Win7 computer.
