\boot\BCD 0x0000098 does not contain a valid OS entry
Hi, I'm new to this forum.
I messed up with my Master Boot Record on my HP Pavillion dv6 laptop with Windows 7 x64 on it.
Now the system doesn't boot and shows me a error like "\boot\BCD 0x0000098 does not contain a valid OS entry"
So tried goggling up and came across a solution. It was by booting up Emergency Boot CD. link: Fix Boot Error 0xC0000098 (Windows Boot Configuration Data file does not contain a valid OS entry) - FlashBoot and EBCD Articles
The problem is I couldn't find my system partition in the file manager. It only shows my recovery partition(13GB). My HDD space is 500G. I only have two partitions C: (system) and D: (recovery)
Anyway to clear up my problem? Any help is greatly appreciated
