Boot problems after installing Samsung ssd

I just installed a Samsung 840 series ssd in a Dell Dimension 9200 and when attempting to restart the computer it hangs on the dell logo screen. I cannot enter bios setup it is just stuck. Installation of windows 7 worked fine and booted initially but upon restart it began having issues

Hi there, Welcome to Seven Forums.

Have you checked that the connections are all plugged in on both the SSD and the motherboard.

And that you didn't move or knock anything around inside the case when installing the SSD?

Let us know how you get on,

In addition how closely did you follow these steps to get a perfect Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7?

Be sure to install with all other HD's unplugged, SSD plugged into SATA port 1.
