Foreign / Japanese Text

I am trying to get Asian characters to display properly on my OS.

Which by the way is Windows 7 Ultimate x64

It always looks like this:

(OS) Windows/XP,Vista,windows7,windows8
(CPU) Celeron 1.4GH‚š ˆ

How do I make windows show the proper text?

I figured it out.

Under Clock, Language & Region you need to change "Region and Language" Format to the proper setting. In my case it needed to be set to "Japanese"

Also click on the Administrative tab and click "Change system locale" and set it to the corresponding language, again in my case "Japanese"
