Wasn't quite what I was looking for.
I was looking to see if there was a way to show the labels, but combine them. For an example: In Vista, it shows the labels, but lets say you have two of the same browsers (or program). It would then combine those two.

Sorry bout that. I don't know if that is possible in win7. maybe someone else will see this and know of a workaround.

I think only option is to combine/hide or uncombine/unhide.

Never combine, hide labels when taskbar is full?
Pretty much the title. I know there's a way to make the taskbar buttons not combine and not show labels, but I figured there's no need to hide those labels until I have no more room left in the taskbar. So, does anyone know if this is possible? Thanks.

Combine taskbar, but keep labels.
Is there away to keep the labels when you combine the taskbar buttons? :D

never combine, hide labels. . .
In the taskbar control panel, is there any way to add the option to hide the labels (ie, in this case "Windows 7 Forums -..." but NOT to group 'similar' items, so each firefox window has it's own, non-overlapping button? Thanks as always! Russell
