    Help file search

Is there any way to get the help file to just give options for a specific issue? Whenever I search it the options list provides off subject issues. If I query for touchpad I don't get just touchpad issues.

When I do a Help and Support for Touch Pad I get selection of 60 different things. You just pick the ones that describes the closest to the information your looking for. You might have to search through a few to find your answer. I don't know of any other way to use Help and Support without going on the internet. If you are having a problem post it here. We have a lot of laptop people.

You may find a web search to be a better choice. Just be sure to provide specific terms that apply to your problem. Touchpad, for example, would be far too vague to return any reasonable help. What is the problem with the touchpad; ie, cannot scroll, left or right click buttons don't respond, wrong alpha characters when typing, etc.

    Just my .02 cents.

It gets in my way and I hate wasting time having to disable it all the time. I will do as you suggested and maybe even ask Win 7 development team to give us a permanent disable option! Thanks for your help. taxea

Now I'm lost. You first want to find thing in Help and Support and now your posting about disabling things. What do you want to disable?
