Morning computer just sat there unresponsive after before-bed restart

    I knew you wouldn't be interested, as I myself hate doing these traces to solve startup shutdown problems. Really the most boring task for me, but have to do, lol.

    You are welcome to post any further queries if you have. This community's great, having people from all around the globe starting from Japan and ending at the US, so someone or the other is always awake to help!

    Check the Performance log which may detail clues at the time of the incident that the Admin log doesn't include: Troubleshooting Steps for Windows 7

    Complete the other steps to gather clues.
