Why do I suspect someone did some unwise use of Utorrent before this issue happened?
Why do I suspect someone did some unwise use of Utorrent before this issue happened?
You say this happened about a week ago.
What did you do ( if anything) before it happened?
To solve a problem we need to know what possibly contributed to the problem
.
Did you download something ( as suggested by torrent ) or
did you make any adjustments to your system?
If you want help I think you need to be a bit more forthcoming on what
led up to this situation, and what you have tried to do ( if anything)to rectify it.
Virus Scan
Malware Scan
Registry defrag/cleaning.
System Restore to before the issue happened if none of the above function.

Edit: Don't download from utorrent unless you have a good source. And good source is redundant since it's never safe to download from torrenting sites.
If it looks too good... it most likely is.
in the search box i dont c squares
and there arnt any virus
i scanned the whole pc using avg
Do a system restore.
Get rid of AVG it causes more problems than it solves. Download and install Microsoft Security Essentials.
Have you done as advised in ealier post and scanned for malware. Try Malwarebytes free version!
If that doesn't solve the problem and you do a system restore and that has no effect then I would suggest a complete clean install of Windows 7. See link to tutorial below. When the clean install is complete forget utorrent, it will only lead to further problems and IF you are using it to download pirated software then you will likely get banned from this Forum.
Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7
nvm everything seems to be working now somehow
i have no idea
