    Viewing everything with Medium icons?

    Hello,

In Windows Seven, is there an easy way to make all icons appear as Medium icons?

I don't want to right click and change the settings in every folder... but would like to apply this globally on all folders on my desktop.

    Thanks

    Hello datetimestamp,

You could use the tutorial below to set all folders to have a Medium icons view. :)

Thanks. So I gather I only need to use the "General Items" option?

Would pictures be included in General Items? I wasn't sure what this included.

A folder template is just a preset folder view used to optimize a folder for specific types of files. You can still have any type of file you like in the folder, and adjust the folder views how you like though.

You could use any folder template to set them all to first, but yeah "General Items" would be best.

It can be set to how you like using step 2 before applying it to all folders.
