| | shortcut missing in user desktop a same shortcut has been missed from all user desktop.we are using windows 7 pro 32 bit. we are using windows server 2000. how can i restore that shortcut for users please help me  |

| | Hello maslam and welcome to Seven Forums. I'm not sure what shortcut is missing. Does the program or application appear in the Start Menu? If yes, can you right-click on the program/app > select Create Shortcut > then click Yes to have the shortcut placed on the desktop. |

| | shortcut is leading to specific shared folder in storage device.moreover they cant create shortcut because they dont have permission to create shortcut.. |

| | Can they pin it to the taskbar ? If not you will have to sign on to each machine as an admin to put the shortcut on the desktop. |

| | You simply find the shared folder on each pc, copy it then paste it to the desktop. Where is the network administrator of this establishment ? He or she should be doing it, not you. With all that money over there I`m sure someone is getting well paid. |
