fitjusi/siemens storagebird external usb hard disk not seen

dear all,
just upgraded to win7 ultimae x64 i have a fitjusi/siemens 2TB EXTERNAL HARD DISK attached, this show up with other hard drive,cd drive etc. when i go to my computer screen. but i was not able to write or read from the fitjusi usb drive.i checked its format information this was FAT32, I then format it to NTFS., and from then it does not show up again. i have try it on other computer and it is not seen too. any information to format it back to FAT 32 again will be highly appreciated

Where did you get Win7? How is it activated?

Fill in your System Specs in bottom left hand of post.

Check your BIOS for updates, on the Support Downloads webpage for your model PC or mobo.

Run all Important and Optional Windows Updates, after enabling Automatically deliver drivers via Windows Update (Step 3) . Set Updates to Automatic.

If drive still isn't seen, install and run Partition Wizard Check File System
and Partition Wizard Partition surface test on the external.
