need help and direction for a quadriplegic friend...

    hello everyone...

I have a friend who had an accident last year and he in now a quadriplegic. He was a very talented programmer in visual basic and C# as well as other languages. He is using windows 7 and Nuance
Dragon Naturally Speaking software but needs help and tools to allow him to begin to program again. Does anyone have suggestions on where I can go to find him what he needs, software, coaching, forums etc, to allow him to begin his "hands free" training journey.

    Thanks for you consideration,
    Mike Brugman

What can I do with Speech Recognition?

These are about all I could find. If you could be a little more specific , maybe I could come up with something better. Sorry.

    Welcome to the Seven Forums

Sorry to hear about your friend, I am a quadriplegic myself since 1999 I do not do any kind of program language so I wouldn't know what tools would be needed and I do use Dragon NaturallySpeaking also, have a look at KnowBrainer Speech Recognition Forums they live and breathe everything about Dragon NaturallySpeaking maybe they will be able to help out.

Might find someone here at CareCure Forums.
Chassmain knows a lot about Dragon NaturallySpeaking and goes to KnowBrainer that Jerry had posted.

Didn't know that about you Jerry. I too am a quad since 1978.

BTW, welcome sage and I'm rooting for your friend.

We sound about the same level(C5/C6), movement is the same.
I go by Flatiron at CareCure. Go there every now and then but don't say much.
