Windows 7 - Can't get Folder Options/View to work

| | Can't get Folder Options/View to work I'm running Windows 7 Home Premium and I notice the Tools/Folder Options/View /Apply to folders, doesn't seem to work. It didn't work in Vista either. Is there a fix for this? Thanks. |

| | Could be a conflict in content type. Setting the custom view in a folder with metadata not contained in other folders. |

| | When you open a file/folder, there's an option to view the contents as a thumbnail, tiles, icons, lists, etc. Then you have to specify in Tools/Folder options/View/Apply to all folders. My selection of Icons never stays permanent. It always defaults back to list. |
