4yes old net book unable to complete startup
If this has been answered, kindly direct me to the post. I have a Gateway netbook without cd drives. the information stickers on the bottom are blank from age so I dont know much more than that. So. windows7 auto-update on Thusday. Saturday night it froze. I did a manual shutdown and got a black screen at startup with the system repair highlighted. I did that, and the computer seemed fine. I did not do a proper shut down,and the battery died. Now it either completes the syst. repair and the screen goes a colourful "white noise" in movent, simply black screen, jams at the startup repair window and even once had 3 sets of characters, not letters, vertically on the left side of the screen. It will not start up. Can I fixthis?
