No problem, just my stern father side coming out. I understand that it is difficult to communicate what has been done, when you're just trying to provide as much information as you can. Take it in small chunks.

Gar, could you post the following system information using the prefered method:
Screenshots and Files - Upload and Post in Seven Forums

Speccy: file menu publish ( do not post the output, just post the link Piriform returns when you PUBLISH)

Disk Manangment: maximize the window and close the left & right panes (click the icons on either side of the help icon). The top pane, showing size, freespace, and drive flags (active, boot, system,primary,logical...) , the bottom pane showing disks and partiononing.

Here's my info as an example:
Published Speecy snapshot: http://speccy.piriform.com/results/C...ppad1Ua8dOLDAj
and the disk management screen shot (plus a shot of how to publish a Speccy snapshot):

Also, please don't let my requests distract you from the other tasks you were doing (post#49). My requests are for infomation - the other steps will help resolve the issue.

If you get stuck or have a question, Greg is the best to help you through those steps. Kepp him up-to-date as you complete the steps - always what you did (reference a step in a tutorial if needed) and post the outcome

Thanks

Bill

Just a note here-in your video you mention Advanced System Care. This should be removed to eliminate a possible cause of corruption. Most "tune up" applications cause more harm than fixes to a system

Disk Mgmt looks correct. Unplug the other HD if you repair or reinstall.

Strange, intermittent problem - programs won't start
This is a weird one. As I mention in the subject line, it's an intermittent issue, so it might be hard to know if it's fixed. Occasionally when I boot up, Windows 7 only lets me open one program. In more detail, what happens is: I turn my computer on. I get to the desktop and everything...
