How can I tell Seven to always open an exe

I installed PCWizard and at first it seemed to work.
Now Windows Seven keeps telling me he does not know the program and wants me to confirm that I want to run it.
How do I tell Seven that I trust this program.

That is a protective feature of UAC, and is recommend for all but the advanced user...
It protects you from making changes that you may not mean to be making... you can lower the level of UAC by typing UAC in the search box and make your changes....

User Account Control - UAC - Change Notification Settings

    Hello Wisperbird,

In addition to the above, if you did not want to turn off or lower the UAC protection level, then you can use the tutorial below to create a shortcut for the program that allows it to run as an administrator still without the UAC prompt.

Elevated Program Shortcut without UAC Prompt - Create

    Hope this helps,

    Hello Shawn,

Thanks for the link. Any way now I know a workaround.
    But I am still puzzled.
    Let me elaborate,
I tried the advise from Antman, it did not work.
I downloaded utorrent it opens without any notice.:)
I downloaded PeerBlock it opens with notice
So what the "bleep" is the difference.

By the way, I want PeerBlock to start at bootup.

    Wisperbird.

    Whisperbird,

Try Method Two in OPTION ONE of the tutorial below to see if you can get it to run at startup without a UAC notice.

    Hope this helps,

    Hello Shawn,

If I click om Windows defender I get a message it is disabled.
Can it be because of MS security essentials.
By the way I use Seven (not Vista) and PeerBlock startup with Windows is checked. But he does not start, I have to do it manually.

    Hello Wisperbird,

Yes, MSE disables and basically replaces Windows Defender in Windows 7. :)

The startup tutorial also can be applied in Windows 7 as well.
