Get some rest - one of us should.

I typically install LogMeIn free as a second way in. That way, I can update TeamViewer while connected via LogMeIn. That said, TeamViewer version 8 does a better job of updating itself once you start the process while in a TeamViewer session.

I,m not sure how solved the problem is. But now when the screen comes back up Mom doesn't have to give her password, just click on her user. I guess you could say it is solved with a work around. :) Thank all of you soooo much for working with me to get this figured out. :x

Your welcome, could you elaborate on this workaround?

It is the one Username suggested. I created a new standard user that is not password protected. Mom doesn't do any admin stuff on her computer so I kept the admin account password protected for me to work on new issues that come up.

Great, thank you for posting back! I may be using your tip on my XP box.

This could be due to an update, about three months ago I ran updates on both our machines and after I rebooted the XP it started asking for a log-in.

I should have staid on it to track it down, but got busy elsewhere, now it makes it just that harder to find it.
