How do I close all windows from a single application in one click?
My computers at home and work both run Windows 7. Both have "taskbar buttons" set to "combine when the taskbar is full" (so that if, say, I have 3 open pdf files or Word documents, they default to having a separate location on my taskbar, unless there's no room).
My work computer has something though so that if I mouseover (say) one of three open pdf files, or six open Windows explorer folders, on the taskbar, I can "X" something and all three close.
However at home, doing that will cause all open examples of what I'm mousing over (windows opened by the same application) to show up, and I have to individually "X" out of each one.
That's a bad explanation, but I think it's understood. I'm trying to find how to configure Windows to close all windows associated with one application with a single click, and I'm not finding it.
