Said "**** it", and finally decided to clean out my oldwindows folder.

And yea, I think I went in and deleted ProgramData without double checking the address.

So say I delete these junction points, what would happen?
Cause I'm about to re image
C:\programdata itself is still there?
C:\users\default is still there?

Right click on c:\programdata and do "restore previous version" select a date/time just before the deletion of files. Click restore.

Do the same for c:\users\default

Account "Roger" appears as "c:\users\user"
Hi all, I recently created a new user account on a win 7 home premium machine before I'd had much experience with win 7 (but years with 2000 and xp). Instead of users\Roger\ it created users\user which I now realise is not correct. (I didn't call my account "user", either, before you ask. :) )...

Permissions for non-system, "user" drives; not "c:"
Would like to not have UAC pop-up for files & folders on non-C: drives, so expect they need to have "full control". Default is Special Permissions. Is there a way to default to "full control" when new folders are created, or do I need to mod permissions for each one? Note that I am NOT talking...

"Default User" junction point folder issue
Hi I was wondering, and I should've asked here earlier, will the repair install re-create the "Public" and "Default" folders (which are in my "Users" folder) after I've deleted them? How about any junction for those two folders? I know I had one for "Default". Thanks.
