Can't remember the password to login. I have tried the tutorial in this forum. I started with the second tutorial in Option one. It reqires a boot up in the WinRe. I used F8 on startup to boot into the recovery partition. In step 4 it asks for the password of either the user or the admin. That is the problem, we don't have either one. Am I doing something wrong?

Tried the instructions on that thread. First I think it is written for XP. But, to create disk it needs the system disk which we don't have and along with the downloaded program. No luck here.

You will probably need access to another computer to download and create a CD/DVD image.
Went by the Sony store where we purchased the laptop. They were able to unlock the laptop.
