How Can I Change Date - Year Not In Dropdown List

I have been using Iomega Network Harddrive 250GB for years connected thru the router. When trying to change the date for this years daylight saving time, the year 2013 is NOT in the drop down list.

I have not updated the firmware in all these years and cannot find any for this drive. The serial number is KUBH43A426. Any thoughts?

Regards,

Zzyzx

This is a "shot in the dark", but is the current year omitted by design? In other words, if you select 2014, for example, is it omitted from the list and does 2013 show as an entry?

No. The years 2004 thru 2012 show in the dropdown list. There is no way to enter a year or indicate to use the current year.

I appreciate the reply.

I was going to suggest using the most recent repeating calendar prior to 2013 but, unfortunately, it's 2002.

indianacarnie,

DriveTuner turned out to be a paid product. It did find my Intel HD Graphics to be out-of-date, but nothing concerning the NAS device.

According to my records, the drive was purchase in Nov 2004. Do you know of any new software issued since then.

I use this drive for backups and cycle the archives based on creation date. This will create a major problem.

Thank you for any help.

, Didn't realize that was a paid site, thought it was your providers site (very quick look see on my part, apologies offered)..... let me look around.

You do know that you didn't have to use the DriverTuner right? Theres a list on the left where you can get the drivers from Iomega for free. Try the option 3 on the page I sent you to. It found a driver for your piece. Its on my desktop as we speak, don't know if it will help but worth a try.

Tried option 3. Found a driver but when I click it takes me back to download Setup.exe which is DriveTuner. I found my original CD but it was no help. I think it was just supporting software (Retrospect & the Discovery Tool).

The s/n of the NAS is 09AE4202XG and not as I posted earlier. Sorry for any confusion. Will try to contact IOmega support directly if it still exists. I have some copies of old transcripts of conversations with them from years ago.

I might have to write a workaround in Powershell. The Get-Childitem has a CreationTime property that is both Get/Set.

I appreciate the help and if you have any more ideas, I'll be happy to hear them.
